A flush concrete curb is cast in place with two continuous number four reinforcing bars and number three ties spaced at thirty-six inches on center. The concrete section features a one-quarter inch radius at the exposed edges and bears on a compacted aggregate base over a compacted subgrade. An isolation joint with sealant separates the curb from the adjacent paving where conditions vary.
