A steel beam frames into a cold-formed steel stud wall at a low roof canopy rim. The connection utilizes slip-critical bolts through a shear tab and includes top and bottom closure plates per rigid clip requirements. A full-height web stiffener is provided on the opposite side of the beam connection to reinforce the stud framing. The assembly accommodates varying low roof heights referenced to the top of stud and bottom of soffit elevations.
