Cast-in-place concrete pavement transitions to surrounding paving with a thickened edge supported on a compacted aggregate base. The concrete slab features a six-inch vertical thickness at the termination, sloping down to an eight-inch minimum dimension per structural requirements. The concrete edge extends directly to the surrounding pavement base. Surrounding conditions are coordinated with the materials plan.
