Cast-in-place concrete paving features a wire basket with a speed dowel aligned beneath a one-eighth-inch sawcut control joint. The sawcut joint depth is typically one-quarter of the overall slab thickness. Slab thickness and concrete finish are determined per structural plans and specifications.
