Concrete pavement terminates against a stone mulch bed bounded by a flow-through concrete planter wall. The pavement rests on a Class II aggregate base over a prepared subgrade compacted per the geotechnical report. Stone mulch fills the maintenance edge to a depth of four inches over the aggregate base. The flow-through planter wall is detailed on civil drawings.
