A ten-inch diameter valve box sits upon a four-inch thick layer of washed gravel, resting on the rock bed without extending into the box interior. The valve box is set two inches above the finished grade of the shrub area. Inside the enclosure, eighteen to twenty-four inches of drip tubing is coiled and connected via a drip tubing coupling to a removable flush cap. The one-half-inch drip tubing exits the box and is positioned above grade.
