An underground tree anchoring and stabilization system is installed within a tree pit. The assembly features a Plati-Mat rootball protection mesh secured over the rootball with stainless steel wire chokes and a two-way ratchet tensioner. The rootball rests upon D-Man cells placed in the subgrade with a one-foot minimum clearance, surrounded by tree soil or similar growing medium, with the tree planted at the nursery line.
