An irrigation electric control valve assembly is housed within a standard valve box with a cover, set flush with the finish grade or top of mulch and maintaining a three-inch minimum clearance above internal components. The assembly connects to a PVC mainline pipe through a schedule forty tee or ell, a male adapter, and a schedule eighty nipple with a two-inch hidden length and a schedule forty ell. A remote control valve with a pressure regulator and purple non-potable handle is piped using a close schedule eighty nipple, schedule forty ell, and a variable-length schedule eighty nipple connected to the lateral pipe. Waterproof connections utilize Rain Bird Splice-1 connectors alongside a decoder referenced to detail sheet L3.3 and a Rain Bird ID tag. The valve box rests upon brick supports over a four-inch minimum depth of three-quarter-inch washed gravel drainage bed.
