An irrigation drip valve assembly is housed inside a twenty by fourteen inch jumbo plastic valve box set flush at turf or two inches above grade at shrubs. The assembly connects to a mainline via a schedule forty riser and a socket-by-threaded tee with a two-inch nipple. The piping train includes a PVC true union ball valve, a remote control valve as specified, a basket filter, and a pressure regulator, joined with PVC unions and short nipples. A half-inch wire cloth gopher screen wraps up the sides over a bed of pea gravel and two six-by-two-by-sixteen concrete block caps beneath the box. The outlet pipe matches the valve size, extending a minimum of twenty-four inches to the first fitting, with forty-five-degree downward bends reaching lateral pipe depth. Controller wires feature thirty inches of linear coil length with plastic identification tags and waterproof connectors. A stamped brass tag marks the valve station number, and the assembly sits twelve inches below finished grade.
