An L2x2x1/4 angle provides metal deck support where more than one rib is unsupported typically. When a beam does not occur at the face of the column, an L2x2x1/4 angle supports the metal deck with a 3/16 fillet weld to each flange. Vertical pipes occur as required, and the framing remains flush top with the beam typically.
