An irrigation pop-up rotor head is mounted flush with the finished grade, surrounded by an eighteen inch square piece of sod in newly seeded areas only. The head connects via threaded fittings and swing joints to a lateral water supply pipe buried in the soil. All components are installed to maintain proper head elevation relative to the finished turf.
