A six-inch by six-inch concrete header is embedded in the subgrade to provide edge restraint between adjacent landscape surfaces. The assembly includes a cast-in-place concrete curb anchored with a longitudinal bar, set flush against compacted subgrade and soil finish grades. Turfgrass abuts one side of the concrete boundary while finish grade abuts the opposite side.
