A rooftop fire feature assembly is anchored to a structural slab. The structure consists of a two-by-two tubesteel frame clad in blackened steel plates with crushed lava rock set in a steel tray over a high-performance electronic burner. Controls and an emergency shutoff are housed behind a moveable Cor-ten plate. The fire feature rests on a concrete footing above brick paving and underlying structural slab layers.
