A ten-inch diameter valve box houses a coiled length of eighteen to twenty-four inches of drip tubing with a drip tubing coupling and a removable flush cap. The valve box rests upon a four-inch thick layer of washed gravel bed, set two inches above the finished grade of the shrub area, with gravel excluded from entering the interior of the box. An above-grade one-half-inch drip tubing extends through the side of the box. The flush cap assembly is positioned at the end of each drip line, ensuring the coiled tubing has sufficient length to extend entirely out of the valve box during maintenance flushing.
