A quick coupler valve with a two-piece brass body connects to a schedule 40 PVC main line through a schedule 80 PVC fitting with a threaded outlet, galvanized street elbows, and galvanized steel nipples. The assembly is housed inside a ten-inch round valve box with extensions, supported by precast concrete pavers and surrounded by three-quarter-inch washed gravel. A brass swivel hose ell and brass key attach at the top beneath a rubber cover set flush with the finish grade. Green-colored valve boxes and lids are installed in lawn areas, while tan-colored boxes and lids are used in planting beds.
