A one-half inch schedule 40 PVC tee connects to the PVC lateral line below finish grade, feeding a one-half inch IPS flexible PVC hose with an outer diameter of eighty-four hundredths of an inch. The flexible hose rises to a one-half inch schedule 80 male adapter and bubbler head positioned near the shrub or vine rootball. A nine gauge tubing stake secures the flexible line assembly in the soil. The bubbler is placed on the uphill side of the rootball twelve inches below finish grade.
