A pressure-regulated pop-up spray sprinkler is installed vertically with its top flush to the finish grade of mulch or turf. The sprinkler connects via a half-inch Marlex male-by-female threaded adapter and a half-inch Marlex barrel elbow. A flexible distribution tubing between fourteen and thirty-six inches long links the assembly to a half-inch ninety-degree elbow barbed fitting. The lateral connection ties into a PVC tee on the main PVC lateral line, surrounded by twelve inches of compacted soil.
