A small decorative planter pot rests on two-inch risers with a minimum of three risers per pot, positioned over the finished grade of a hardscape surface. The pot contains a base layer of three-inch depth washed number 57 gravel covered by a geotextile filter fabric. Above the fabric lies eighty-five percent compacted lightweight soil mix topped with planting mix per specifications and a three-inch layer of mulch.
