This underground utility trench section details the installation of four conduits enclosed within trench walls and embedded in clean sand backfill. The assembly is positioned with a minimum depth of thirty inches from the finished grade to the top of the conduit bank, topped with properly compacted soil and a six-inch-wide metallic warning tape placed twelve inches minimum above the conduits. The conduits maintain typical three-inch spacings horizontally and vertically within the sand bed. Surface restoration requires patching and repairing to match existing conditions at the finished grade.
