The pop-up spray head is installed flush with the finish grade in turf areas or level with mulch in planting beds. It is positioned one to three inches clear of all hardscape surfaces and one-half inch below adjacent hardscape surfaces with a depth of cover measuring twelve to sixteen inches. The head connects via a one-half-inch Marlex street elbow and swing pipe ell to a twenty-four-inch maximum length flexible swing pipe. The flexible pipe ties back into the lateral line, which is sized per plans, using a Schedule 40 SxSxT tee or ell.
