A pipe penetrates a below grade concrete wall through a steel wall sleeve equipped with a continuous two-inch welded anchor collar acting as a water stop. The annular space between the pipe and sleeve is sealed using an elastomeric seal element, compressed by pressure plates secured with stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers. The outside face of the joint is finished with mastic sealant, and the exterior penetration is sealed with resilient waterproof caulking. Optional insulation surrounds the pipe on the interior side.
