An irrigation trenching assembly sets lateral and main lines over a four-inch sand bedding resting on undisturbed subgrade. Compacted backfill fills the trench up to the finish grade, maintaining a minimum four-inch separation between parallel pipes. Tracer wire is taped to the pipe line every fifteen feet on center. Pipe stacking is explicitly prohibited.
