Steel ledger plate connections to structural steel beams for conditions where height dimension H exceeds six inches or extends above the top of the beam. A one-quarter inch thick gusset plate is provided at forty-eight inches on center with continuous fillet welds specified as one-quarter inch on three sides. Stiffener plates are detailed per sheet twelve of drawing LO S1.2.1, with specific placement rules when the dimension is less than or equal to one inch. Top of steel elevations and ledger sizes are referenced to structural plans and schedules.
