A four-inch layer of decomposed granite paving is placed in two two-inch lifts with added stabilizer. Below the paving sits a four-inch layer of Class II aggregate base compacted to ninety-five percent relative compaction. The entire assembly rests upon a compacted subgrade at ninety-five percent relative compaction.
