An irrigation head on a fixed riser connects to an insulated lateral pipe running through a pea gravel base course above a rigid insulation and waterproofing assembly over an existing structural slab. A three-inch thick foam board secures the spray head within the soil layer. Trenches into the soil at moisture portals are excavated using a V-shaped hoe to accommodate the lateral pipe layout.
