A concrete pavement edge condition bears on a compacted aggregate base and subgrade. The portland cement concrete slab incorporates welded wire mesh centered within the depth and features a thickened edge profile. Finish grade transitions smoothly to the exterior edge of the slab. Expansion joints are spaced at twenty feet on center with control joints sawcut at ten feet on center.
