This assembly connects to a deck surface using a three-quarter inch mounting shank, a nylon deck flange, and a secure locknut. Water flows through an eight-foot high pressure reinforced flexible poly-vinyl chloride hose connected to a Watersaver model L-108 in-line continuous pressure backflow preventer. The control mechanism consists of a brass self-closing valve operated by a stainless steel squeeze handle with a gray poly-vinyl chloride insulator handle, a locking clip, and a handle locator guide referencing Detail A. Two gentle spray outlet heads terminate the top of the valve at a forty-five degree angle. A separate in-line backflow preventer features a three-eighths inch iron pipe size female union inlet and outlet. Local plumbing inspector approval is required in writing for the specific backflow device and system configuration prior to shipping and installation.
