An irrigation bubbler and finish grade cap connect to a vertical Schedule 80 nipple extending downward into a vertical 4-inch perforated drain pipe. The vertical pipe extends to the bottom of the root ball and is backfilled with clean washed pea gravel up to the top of the pipe. A double swing joint composed of two Marlex street elbows connects the upper nipple to a lower Schedule 80 nipple. This lower nipple ties into a Marlex street ell, which connects to the lateral line via a PVC tee or elbow.
