A one-and-a-half-inch outside diameter stainless steel handrail is supported by vertical posts of size per details. The vertical post connects to a five-eighths-inch diameter element welded to the top of the post. Two mounting conditions are detailed: core drilling one-point-five times the post size with grout into a slab on grade paving with a three-inch minimum depth, and core drilling into a cast-in-place concrete wall with an eight-inch depth and three-inch minimum clearance. Finish surfaces and edge of wall or paving dimensions are indicated.
