A portable planter houses planting soil mix surrounding rootballs, topped with decorative rock and a layer of non-woven soil separator fabric. A three-inch layer of three-quarters to one-half inch diameter gravel sits at the base of the container above the drainage zone. A vertical threaded two-inch PVC siphon featuring one and one-quarter inch cut-out slots at the base and a PVC cap extends through the soil profile.
