A trash receptacle surface mounts to an elliptical concrete footing set flush with adjacent mulch and pedestrian concrete paving. The footing measures one foot deep with a four-inch concrete paving layer over a six-inch concrete footing bearing on a compacted subgrade. Anchors are secured via one seven-eighths inch by one-half inch drill holes per manufacturer recommendations. Exact footing layout follows the site furniture template and must coordinate with the manufacturer to ensure no exposed footing.
