An irrigation controller is housed within a lockable metal cabinet and anchored to the wall per manufacturer instructions. A grounded 110-volt service connects to the cabinet with all exposed wire installed in conduit per code requirements. Rigid galvanized steel conduit carries common and control wires and transitions to Schedule 40 PVC conduit at the finished grade. Low-voltage common and control wires run through the underground conduit. The cabinet is mounted at approximately five feet typical above finished grade or as approved by the owner's representative.
