The quick coupler valve is housed within a specified ten-inch round valve box and lid, installed flush with the finish grade. A one-inch by sixteen-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe secures to the quick coupler with a quarter-inch galvanized U-bolt. The assembly connects via bushings as required to a Schedule 80 nipple of variable length, two Schedule 80 street elbows, and one Schedule 80 short nipple with no Marlex. A PVC Schedule 80 nipple with an eight-inch minimum length ties into the mainline using a PVC threaded by threaded ninety-degree elbow. The valve box rests on four bricks on each side and sits above a minimum of two cubic feet of twelve-inch depth drain rock sump.
