A manual drain valve is housed inside a ten-inch round or rectangular valve box set into the surrounding soil with a twenty-four-inch minimum depth. The enclosure rests on a gravel drainage bed at the base and connects to subsurface piping. The valve assembly includes numbered component callouts indicating the valve operator, box housing, drain pipe, gravel fill, and connection fittings.
