A four-by-four redwood post is embedded into a one-foot-six-inch concrete footing measuring one foot wide and featuring a three-inch clearance at the base. Two-by-six redwood boards span the face of the post to retain the import soil fill. A four-inch perforated pipe with perforations turned down is wrapped in drain rock and filter fabric, with a six-inch minimum fabric overlap, and set beside the footing. Filter fabric is laid over the native grade and concrete footing and stapled to the boards beneath a four-inch depth aggregate base. A four-inch NDS round black atrium grate is positioned at the top of the soil, and the upper corner is referenced to an enlargement detail.
