The surfacing system consists of a one-half-inch-thick top layer and a five-inch base layer of poured-in-place rubber installed over a concrete slab sized per civil drawings. The concrete rests on a compacted aggregate base layer and a compacted subgrade as specified in the site civil engineering documents.
