Concrete slab control and expansion joint assemblies. The control joint features a sawcut with a minimum depth of one-half inch in the concrete slab, with reinforcing and specifications per structural drawings. The expansion joint incorporates a tooled edge at the slab, a minimum one-quarter-inch neoprene gasket, and a one-half-inch diameter steel rod dowel epoxied into the existing slab with a minimum embedment of six inches.
