An extruded aluminum edging profile separates ground surfaces and retains turf or paving materials. Eighteen-inch aluminum stakes anchor the edging vertically into the subgrade at regular intervals along the run. Metal connectors join adjacent edging sections securely end-to-end to maintain alignment. The top of the edging is set to a maximum of one-quarter inch above the finished surface material. Compacted base materials adjacent to the edging prevent settling and lateral displacement over time.
