An inverted umbrella canopy system is supported by a central vertical post standing at nine feet to the underside of the canopy arms and ten feet nine inches to the outer edge. The canopy framework features radial structural arms extending outward from a central hub atop the post. Lighting fixtures are mounted on brackets positioned below the arms near the top of the post. The vertical post rests on a base ground line.
