This installation detail shows a root watering system positioned around a plant root ball below the finish grade and top of mulch. The assembly incorporates a rigid basket weave canister connected via a swing assembly and a half-inch male National Pipe Thread inlet to high-density polyethylene Schedule 40 lateral pipes and fittings. An optional geotextile sock surrounds the canister for sandy soil applications. The lateral pipe connects to the irrigation valve at the point of connection.
