A potable service line runs parallel below the street surface with a three-foot six-inch vertical clearance. A recycled water irrigation mainline with a protective sleeve is installed below the potable service line. A minimum vertical separation of twelve inches is maintained between the potable service line and the irrigation mainline. All recycled water irrigation pipes and sleeves must be purple and labeled.
