A 1.5-inch diameter stainless steel handrail is supported by 1.5-inch by 0.5-inch stainless steel posts embedded 18 inches into a cast-in-place concrete wall. A typical stainless steel escutcheon plate conceals the base penetration at the top of the concrete. The cast-in-place concrete wall is reinforced with number 4 rebar at 10 inches on center both ways.
