Mechanical equipment rests on a curb supported by a 6x6 minimum pressure-treated Douglas-fir sleeper running along the equipment skid over a cross-laminated timber roof panel. A 1/2-inch diameter hot-dipped galvanized lag screw centers on the curb with a 4-inch minimum thread penetration and a 3-1/2-inch minimum end distance to the end of the curb. A 5/8-inch diameter hot-dipped galvanized lag screw spaced at 12 inches on center fastens the assembly through a countersunk 2-inch square hot-dipped galvanized washer, maintaining a 2-inch minimum clearance to the equipment lag screws and a 2-1/2-inch minimum end distance to the end of the curb.
