A site bench is mounted to a six-inch thick concrete paving slab using one-half-inch by five-and-one-half-inch threaded rods secured with epoxy anchors per the manufacturer's recommendations. The concrete paving rests on a Class 2 aggregate base, compacted and conditioned per the concrete paving detail. Reinforcing consists of number four bars at twelve inches on center each way with a minimum of three bars each way. Exact footing layout follows the site furniture template and coordinates with the manufacturer, with benches sited by the landscape architect prior to final installation.
