A cast-in-place reinforced concrete curb meets an asphalt pavement section, positioned flush with adjacent concrete paving. The curb measures nine inches wide at the base and contains two number four epoxy-coated reinforcing bars spaced at six inches on center. The exposed top corner features a typical one-quarter-inch radius. An expansion joint is provided as detailed on drawings for vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
