An aluminum mullion is installed adjacent to a metal stud partition wall with gypsum board facing, aligned with the wall above as it occurs. A continuous bead of silicone sealant over a backer rod is applied to each side of the aluminum mullion framing junction. The interior glazing is provided per the schedule and references interior elevations. Backer framing is provided as required behind the partition, which is finished with typical metal corner beads.
