An X-inch drain pipe extends upward through a finished floor, passing through a typical pipe sleeve embedded in the slab. The upper end of the drain terminates in an (X+2)-inch funnel, while the lower portion routes through a 90-degree elbow into horizontal piping. A general note specifies that a trap and vent are not required for seawater drainage.
