Lateral drip tubing is set into amended planting soil at a specified depth below finish grade and secured in place with staples per the layout detail. Perimeter laterals are positioned two to four inches from the edge of the planting area as standard practice. The assembly is topped with a layer of mulch per specifications over the finish grade. The installation depth varies, set at six inches below turf and four inches below planting areas.
