A custom concrete firepit by Concreteworks sits atop a concrete footing, supported by a structural concrete slab with integrated drainage layers. The fire feature incorporates a steel tray holding crushed lava rock over an HPC burner. Gas controls and an emergency shutoff are housed behind a moveable weathering steel Cor-ten plate. The assembly rests above brick paving set over specialized sub-base layers and a structural steel deck slab.
