This tree protection assembly utilizes a six-foot-high Perimeter Plus construction fence by Conwed Plastics or an approved equal, supported by eight-foot-tall metal T-posts or two-by-two-inch pressure-treated wood posts. Posts are buried twenty-ivhches to two feet below grade, driven to a depth of one-quarter of the post height, and spaced six to eight feet on center around the tree dripline. Fencing is secured to the posts using nylon cable ties or wood strips, ensuring direct contact with wire is avoided to prevent fence damage.
